What is an AMF Panel (Auto Mains Failure Panel)?
An Automatic Mains Failure (AMF) Panel, also known as an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) Control Panel, is an intelligent power backup automation system designed to continuously monitor primary grid utility mains supply, automatically detect voltage fluctuations or complete grid power failures, issue a start command to the standby Diesel Generator (DG Set), and seamlessly transfer connected plant loads.
When primary utility power restores and stabilizes, the AMF panel safely transfers load back to grid utility supply, manages generator cool-down timer cycles, and safely shuts down the DG set without human intervention, ensuring uninterrupted 24/7 business continuity.
