Product Overview & Technical Architecture
What is a DG Synchronizing Panel?
A DG Synchronizing Panel (Generator Paralleling Switchgear) is an advanced power management automation system designed to run two or more diesel generator sets in parallel on a common busbar. It continuously monitors the voltage, frequency, phase angle, and phase sequence of all connected generators, automatically synchronizing and closing their circuit breakers with zero phase lock error.
Equipped with digital multi-generator synchronizing controllers (ComAp / Deep Sea Electronics / Woodward / DEIF), motorized ACBs, and PLC-based power management logic, the panel handles dynamic active power (kW) and reactive power (kVAR) load sharing, automatic demand-dependent start/stop sequences, peak shaving, and reverse power protection.

DG Synchronizing Controller & Automatic Load Sharing Architecture
Engineered for multi-generator phase matching, dynamic active (kW) and reactive (kVAR) power balancing, reverse power lockout, and intelligent peak demand management.
Digital Auto Synchronizing Controller
Digital synchroscope with <0.1Hz phase lock precision, speed governor interface, and voltage regulator (AVR) bi-directional biasing.
Dynamic Active & Reactive Load Sharing
Equalizes percentage engine load across generators of equal or varying kVA ratings, preventing unequal heating or engine motoring.
Motorized Air Circuit Breakers (ACBs)
Fast-closing motorized ACBs with microprocessor LSIG trip units, shunt trips, and under-voltage releases for instant phase closure.
Auto Demand Dependent Start / Stop (PMS)
Power Management System calculates plant kVA demand and automatically starts or stops extra DG sets to maintain 75% optimal fuel efficiency.
Reverse Power & Vector Shift Protection
ANSI 32 reverse power lockout prevents generators from motoring during engine loss, plus vector shift relays for grid decoupling.
Touchscreen HMI & Cloud Telematics
Color touchscreen HMI displaying synchroscope graphics, voltage/frequency waveforms, run hours, and Modbus TCP SCADA telemetry.
Internal Switchgear & Control Components Grid
Top-tier electrical switchgear, protection relays, and control electronics integrated inside Panel Electro MCC & PCC Panels.
