Quality Assurance System & Laboratory Testing
Every electrical panel manufactured at Panel Electro undergoes rigorous routine dielectric, insulation resistance, busbar torque, and operational functional tests before dispatch.
High Voltage Dielectric Test (HV Test)
2.5kV AC voltage is applied for 60 seconds between all power phases connected together and frame earth, as well as between individual phases.
Insulation Resistance Test (IR Megger Test)
1000V DC voltage is applied between power phases, neutral, and earth for 1 minute before and after high voltage testing.
Busbar Torque Verification Test
100% of busbar joint high-tensile bolts (M8, M10, M12, M16) are torqued to specified N-m settings and sealed with paint mark.
Paint & Powder Coating Thickness Test
Dry Film Thickness (DFT) is measured at 10 random points across door panels, side sheets, and frame structures.
Earth Continuity Test
25A DC current is injected between the main earth copper busbar and all metallic doors, covers, and switchgear handles.
Control Wiring & Secondary Functional Test
Control supply is energized to test breaker closing/tripping, interlocks, AMF auto-crank, PLC IO loops, and alarm annunciators.
Incoming Quality Control (IQC)
Quality begins at raw material arrival. 100% of electrolytic copper bars, CRCA sheets, and bought-out switchgear are inspected for material test certificates (MTC), thickness tolerances, and chemical composition before entering the production queue.
